The Mineral Wells Independent School District (MWISD) is a Texas Education Agency (TEA) recognized school district with all campuses meeting TEA guidelines.

We have three elementary schools, one junior high and one high school, which make up our district.  The stucture of our schools is a little different from most areas.  All of our children within the MWISD boundaries go to one school according to his or her grade.  Below is a list of our schools and the grades each school teaches.

►Lamar Elementary:  Preschool through 1st Grade
