Palo Pinto General Hospital opened it's doors to patients in April of 1968. Hospital staff and auxiliary volunteers strive every day to provide extra services to help keep patients and familiies comfortable. Seven individuals make up the hospital board. They meet every fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the board room. Meetings are open to the public, so stop in and listen to the decisions being made that affect the patients and hospital.

The Hospital Auxiliary has approximately 65 members who assist hospital staff. The gift shop is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
